Google has added new tools and formats for developers of free-play games on the AdMob platform.

One of the main innovations was the AutoFlip function, which automatically converts horizontal videos into vertical ones. The technology uses machine learning capabilities to identify key objects in the frame. The technology showed a 20% increase in clickability during testing.

Google has introduced the ability to create advertising mini-games and increased the pool of clickable video ads, as well as announced new algorithms for detecting and promoting new games in the Google Play store.

The company presented the innovations of Google services at the international conference GDC 2017, which is taking place these days in San Francisco.
