Almost a quarter of mobile users log in to the app only once after installing it.
This is better than a year earlier, but still not very good,” says Localytics, the company that conducted the study.
The percentage of “retained” users (those who log into the average application 11 or more times) has grown over the year – to 38%.
A good trend, which, however, indicates that 62% of users do not stay in one application for a long time.
Localytics considers notifications inside applications (In-App Messages) to be one of the important tools for retaining users. It is important not to confuse with push. IAMS come only if the application is running.
On average, hospital apps with IAM have more retained users – 46%. Those in which there is no such functional have significantly less: only 36%.
