Those who closely follow Zynga may have noticed that recently the company’s executives have been leaving one by one. The flight became massive after it became known that the financial results of the second quarter were lower than expected.

EA veteran John Schappert, CityVille CEO Alan Patmore, and creative director Mike Verdu are no longer among Zynga employees. And this list is getting bigger and bigger every day. The other day, even the head of the security service, Nils Puhlmann, left the company.

Moreover, Zynga itself refuses to explain why its employees are leaving. However, a company representative recently told AllThingsD that Zynga has a low staff turnover, and it is not surprising that some employees of the company want to move on.

Despite this statement, it is difficult to ignore the mass exodus of the leadership. Since the publication of the financial report for the second quarter on July 25, at least 12 directors have left their posts. Among them are the people responsible for the development of CityVille, Empires & Allies, FrontierVille, FarmVille, Mafia Wars 2 and Draw Something.
