It’s more fun together. Companies engaged in video advertising of mobile applications have launched a joint program.
Recall that Vungle integrates trailers into mobile applications, and Kamcord allows users to record their own game video.
Under the terms of the agreement, the new Vungle trailers will be 15-second cuts of a custom game video from Kamcord. According to the participants of the transaction, the innovation will significantly increase the conversion of advertising materials, since “users like to watch gameplay videos.”
The initiative has already passed alpha testing. A closed beta test is currently being conducted.
At the moment, investors have already invested $8 million in Vungle, and $1.5 million in Kamcord. Whether the joint program will help startups to return the funds spent on them is a big question.
