Gabe Newell said that in the near future tablets will become powerful enough to implement the mobile version of the MOBA project from the authors of Half-Life.
The tablet version of Dota 2, as Valve CEO Gabe Newell told the Kotaku gaming blog, is one of the studio’s most interesting current projects. Unfortunately, the first results of the development turned out to be far from ideal.
As can be understood from Nyell’s words, modern tablets have not “pulled” the game. The good news, he claims, is that the performance of mobile devices is growing very fast, “so I think we will soon get (from gadgets) the characteristics that we want and that other game developers want to see.”
