This became known at the Unity 2012 conference currently taking place in Amsterdam.
According to Unity representatives, both platforms – Windows Phone 8 and Windows 8 – will receive support when the fourth version of Unity itself is released.
“Our mission has always been to provide developers with software solutions that will allow them to port projects to as many different platforms as possible without any effort,” said David Helgason, Executive Director of Unity Technologies.
Conclusion? Microsoft has a new, serious ally, thanks to which, it may be, Windows Phone 8 and Windows 8 will not have problems with game content.
