Ubisoft is launching a group of educational initiatives under the general name CODEX. Over the next five years, the company will invest $8 million in them.
The goal of CODEX is to provide the younger generation with education in the field of game development and computer technology. To do this, Ubisoft will sign a contract with 17 partners, including charitable organizations and educational foundations.
Ubisoft will not only allocate money for a group of initiatives, but also provide students with more than 1,000 hours of curatorial support annually. The company’s employees themselves will act as curators.
Initiatives will be built in such a way as to include game development in the educational process. Let’s add that these initiatives will be designed for a wide variety of age groups, from five-year-olds to university students.
