Developers prefer to use advertising when it comes to monetization of applications, but subscription brings in the most money, the analytical company Vision Mobile reports in its latest study.
In the Developer Economics 2013: The tools report, which summarizes the responses of 3,400 developers from Europe, Asia and America interviewed in the fourth quarter of 2012, Vision Mobile experts talked about a number of aspects of the modern mobile market.

Most often, developers use Google services for analytics (69%) and Flurry (49%). 39% of iOS developers consider important analytics. Android developers are less inclined to study the market, those who listen to the data of research companies and implement their services into their applications – only 28%. According to Vision Mobile, the number of users of analytical services is also an indicator of the competence of mobile application developers.
