According to Piper Jaffray analyst Gene Munster, Google managed to sell from 800 thousand to 1 million Nexus 7 tablets in the third quarter.
He made this conclusion based on an analysis of Google’s latest financial report. The column “Other income” shows the amount of $ 666 million (by the way, in the same period last year it was $385 million). According to Gene Munster, the lion’s share of this earnings falls on the Nexus 7. Simple calculations allowed him to assume that the sales volume of this gadget for the quarter lies in the range of 800 thousand – 1 million units.
So far, Google has not released official sales figures for the device. Earlier, the company stated that it will be able to sell from 6 to 8 million Nexus 7 tablets this year.
