Microsoft and Nokia have announced that as part of their joint program s AppCampus, 36 (!) studios received funds totaling $1 million.This program was launched in March of this year.

Pekka Sivonen, about 900 applications were reviewed, and based on their analysis, 36 best developers were selected. Most of the works will be released in October this year (in other words, just after or simultaneously with the release of Windows Phone 8). Sivonen also stated that the program will continue with this.
He promised that over the next three years Microsoft and Nokia will invest in about 700 more projects.
