Deus Ex: The Fall, a five-minute sequel to the cult role-playing shooter Deus Ex: Human Revolution, will be released on the App Store this week, July 11.

The joint development of N-Fusion Interactive and Eidos Montreal, according to information about the project, promises to become no less a hardcore game than the console original. This is a six-hour first-person shooter with a well-developed plot, the ability to pass levels in different ways and graphics at the level of games for consoles of the current generation.

The plot of the project continues the story of the novel Deus Ex: The Icarus Effect, which reveals the background of Deus Ex: Human Revolution, which, in turn, tells about the events preceding the original Deus Ex, released by Ion Storm on June 22, 2000.

Confused?

In general, the action of the game unfolds simultaneously with Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

The book, by the way, was published in Russia by the publishing house “ABC” under the title “Deus Ex. The Icarus effect.”

According to Square Enix, the publisher of the game, the project at the last E3 grabbed seven dice “The best mobile / iOS game”.

The price of the game, as we have already written, will be $6.99. Deus Ex: The Fall will be compatible with iPad 2 and older and with iPhone 4S and older.

Yes, a few words about N-Fusion Interactive. Last year, this studio released a very decent Air Mail. Plus, recently N-Fusion on PC released Leisure Suit Larry: Reloaded, a remake of the original quest of the early 90s. Very soon it should also appear on mobile platforms.
