An American company headed by Kevin Cho is trying to implement the Japanese experience of DeNA in the Western market, using its own franchise as leverage.

Last week Kabam released Heroes of Camelot, a card butler based on its most popular game – Kingdoms of Camelot.

As in any more or less self-respecting card collectible project, in Heroes of Camelot the player fights against the forces of evil, this time led by the Dark Knight. But the number of available sides in the game at the moment is small – only two (usually three): britons and druids.

During the fight against the enemy, players collect cards and complete quests in five cities over 40 stages.

The key feature of Heroes of Camelot is the ability to create up to three decks that can simultaneously attack enemies. Each deck, depending on the cards included in it, has different skills, combo abilities and hits (that is, if in any other butler the player controls one deck, then here – three).

In addition to the single player mode, users are also offered multiplayer. Players can communicate with each other using the built-in chat.

Heroes of Camelot is available for download as a free app for iPhone and iPad. And also an Android version should be released soon.

The original Kingdoms of Camelot brought Kabam more than $250 million in less than 4 years.
