Facebook seems to have passed the time when projects were ported to iOS from Facebook, now they are porting to Facebook from iOS. At least that’s exactly what the developers from the Halfbrick studio did when their unpretentious, but extremely popular arcade game Jetpack Joyride in the iOS version scored more than 25 million downloads.

The “social adaptation” of one of the best games of 2011 almost does not differ from the original: the same graphics, the same gameplay, the same monetization. Unless now you can compete with your friends for the best place in the standings.

The original Jetpack Joyride was released on the App Store on September 1 last year. In the first week of sales from iTunes, it was downloaded about 350 thousand times. At the beginning of February, the number of downloads of the game exceeded the mark of 14 million installations. This means that the game has been downloaded 11 million more times in the last three months.

Out of curiosity: the earnings of the game from September to December slowly, but still went down. After the game moved from paid to f2p, sales returned to a consistently high level.
