According to the 9to5mac resource, Google released the J2ObjC translator yesterday, converting code written for Java to Objective-C.
It is quite possible that now porting from Android to iOS and vice versa will become a little easier, since J2ObjC allows you to embed Java directly into the build of iOS applications.
But there is one “but”. J2ObjC does not broadcast code related to the user interface. Do you want to convert application logic or something related to data access? Please, but no UI.
J2ObjC fully supports Java 6, as well as most runtime functions.
