Google has announced the launch of the Google+ Sign-In authorization mechanism, which allows you to use a single login from the Google+ profile to log in to various applications and services.

Google+ Sign-In can work in Android and iOS programs, as well as in web applications.  It supports two-level Google authentication. We also note that the user can specify which data Google+ will transmit to a third-party service and set parameters for the visibility of their activity in the service or application in the feeds of friends on Google+. The company also announced the introduction of Google+ Sign-In on Google Play, which simplifies user authentication in their products.

In fact, this function is completely similar to Facebook Connect. Will it help catch up with Zuckerberg’s Google+ network? Unlikely. Yes, Google recently reported that the number of active users of its social network has reached 343 million people. This is significantly more than Twitter with its 288 million. But by the degree of influence they cannot even be compared.
