Mobile traffic is growing so dynamically that in some countries it has already surpassed the traffic of desktop systems.

Kleiner Perkins analyst Mary Meeker delivered a report on mobile traffic analysis at Stanford University. According to the information provided, mobile devices account for about 13% of all Internet traffic in the world. At the same time, two years ago, gadgets did not account for even 4% of the total traffic.

Interestingly, in India, mobile traffic is already 1.5 times higher than PC: 60% versus 40%.

According to Meeker, now the global mobile traffic market is estimated at $19 billion, of which about 67% (almost $13 billion) is accounted for by mobile applications and 33% (slightly more than $ 6 billion) is for advertising.
