The third part of the mobile blockbuster from the French gaming giant Gameloft will soon appear on iOS and Android.
Unfortunately, the announcement of the next series of Near Orbit Vanguard Alliance (better known as N.O.V.A.) it turned out to be extremely brief. It is known that the mobile analogue of Halo will include IAP and “soon” will appear on the windows of app stores.
By the way, in connection with the developers’ statement about the use of IAP in N.O.V.A. 3, a funny incident occurred. A number of online publications considered this a hint that the game would turn out to be freemium. And they had good reasons for that: a little earlier, Gameloft announced that in 2012 all the company’s products would not only be “very social”, but would also support micropayments.
To Gameloft’s credit, she reacted quickly to the speculation of journalists by posting a message on her Twitter: “N.O.V.A. 3 will not be a freemium application.”
N.O.V.A is one of the first first-person shooters on mobile platforms. The first part of the series was released back in December 2009, was caressed by the press and gained great popularity among players, despite problems with management (playing a shooter using touch control is not the most pleasant activity).
The second part, released exactly a year later, consolidated the success of the series in the field of shooters, although some players still had complaints about the management (the screen is slightly higher from the second part).
