Yesterday, Wooga announced that the Diamond Dash game has achieved 30 million downloads since its release on iOS in December last year.

The Berlin studio notes that the number of downloads is still actively growing. Every day, 100 thousand new users install the popular match3 game about the panda wizard on their iOS devices.

68% of Diamond Dash fans link the game to their social accounts on Facebook. At the end of 2011, there were no more than 28% of them, Wooga employees note in a press release.

To date, according to App Annie, Diamond Dash ranks 47th in the American top-grossing iPhone apps and 184th in the analogous top iPad apps.

The excellent performance of the game on iOS forced the company to reconsider its attitude to the mobile market. Already half of its employees are working on new mobile games.

Wooga, formed in Berlin in 2009, is known mainly for its social projects: Bubble Island, Monster World and Magic Land.
