Google Tablet is one of the most successful tablets running on Android OS. This attracts developers to it. However, there is an opinion that the Nexus 7’s finest hour will not last long.

Recently, when updating applications via Google Play, users began to notice a new item in the description – UI improvements for Nexus 7. In a nutshell, this means that mobile application developers have begun to refine their programs for this particular device.

Such attention from developers is explained quite simply: the Google tablet really blew up the market. He repeated last year’s success of Kindle Fire, raised the prestige and popularity of Android tablets to a new level.

This is confirmed by the figures from the Chinese portal DigiTimes: in the second quarter alone (and the release of the device fell on its second half), the total volume of shipments of Nexus 7 amounted to about 2.4 million devices (to be more precise, panels for this device).

Another thing is that this success may come to naught in the fourth quarter of 2012 in the wake of new “budget” releases. Recall that this fall should be released: Microsoft Surface, iPad mini and Kindle Fire 2.
