The Japanese company DeNA, the owner of the social gaming mobile platform Mobage, reported on the results of the quarter ended June 30. The company earned $609 million, which is 37% higher than in the same period a year ago and made a net profit of $131 million.

The most successful games of the reporting quarter were Rage of Bahamut, Blood Brothers and Ninja Royale.

Commenting on the quarterly financial report, DeNA President and CEO Isao Moriyasu noted that a record revenue figure has been achieved on a global scale, which, in his opinion, indicates the right direction of the business development strategy in Western markets. According to him, the company strives to ensure that the Mobage social gaming platform becomes a world leader. And he sees ways to achieve this goal in improving technology, forming the strongest gaming portfolio of products from both internal studios and third-party developers, and excellent service to users of the Mobage platform around the world.
