The DeNA card role-playing battler shifted the Rage of Bahamut game, which had been at the top of the chart since April 2012, from the first position of the American top box office Google Play applications.

For six months, the Rage of Bahamut game, developed by the Japanese studio Cygames and published by DeNA, was #1 on the Google Play box office apps chart in the United States. And this is a record – more than one application has not managed to continuously stay on top of this top for so long.

But, as they say, nothing lasts forever. Last Sunday, the Blood Brothers game, created directly by DeNA’s internal forces, took the place of Rage of Bahamut at the top of the American top and 22 other countries, including Canada, France and Sweden.

However, she couldn’t stay on it for a long time. According to AppData and AppAnnie, Rage of Bahamut has already regained the first place.

Blood Brothers – became the third application on the Mobage platform in the box office top of Google Play. The other two are Rage of Bahamut and another Marvel: War of Heroes battler.

More recently, DeNA bought 20% of Cygames, which developed Rage of Bahamut, for $92 million. The publisher’s revenues in the last quarter amounted to a record $627 million, of which net profit was $254 million.
