Strange news came from Canada: Research In Motion (also known as RIM) is looking for an iOS developer with 7 to 10 years of experience. The guys overheated while working on the new iPad – no other way.

RIM has published a vacancy on Linkedin “Senior iOS Mobile Develope r”. According to the requirements specified in the vacancy, the future employee will have to “create exciting entertainment applications for distribution on the iOS platform.” Moreover, the developer should know how to create “complex programs for iPhone and iPad“. Also, the specialist’s portfolio should already have several projects published on the App Store.

Why a BlackBerry company should create entertainment programs for iOS is a big question. On the other hand, observing the decline in sales of their devices, perhaps the company’s management is trying to stay in the lead at least in terms of software, creating new applications for other platforms.
