Apsalar company from sunny California has developed a tool capable of real-time tracking the effectiveness of Facebook ads in the mobile segment.

The new marketing tool Campaign Source Insights allows developers to see where their users come from, whether it’s a banner network or another developer/publisher with whom the company works in a cross-advertising bundle. It also measures how much users who come from a particular source spend. So developers are now able to see where the most “delicious” users come from.

Facebook entered the mobile advertising market only six months ago. But the step she took turned out to be very aggressive. The company not only started showing ads in the mobile news feed, but also launched an entire campaign with which third-party developers can promote their applications. The essence of the campaign is that developers or publishers can purchase so-called tiles, when clicked on, the user is transferred to the page of the advertised application in the App Store or Google Play client.

With the help of Campaign Source Insights, every mobile developer can find out for himself whether such advertising is worth the amounts that Facebook requests for it.

You can use the tool absolutely for free by registering on the official website of Apsalar.
