The analytical company On Device conducted a study in order to track the degree of satisfaction of users of the new iOS in comparison with previous OS releases.

Out of the maximum 10 points, the sixth version of iOS scored 7.65 points, which is slightly lower than the previous iOS 5 (at one time in October 2011, it scored 7.75 points, iOS 4 had 6.93 points).

According to Alistair Hill, chief executive officer of On Device, previously there was only an increase in the satisfaction rate with the operating system after its update.

Among the main disadvantages, users of Apple devices noted: long-suffering maps (according to rumors, the Google Maps app for iOS will be released at the very end of this year), the lack of YouTube among pre-installed applications and fast battery consumption.

As noted in On Device, now the trend towards a decline in the level of OS satisfaction is also observed among users of Android-based devices.
