Zynga has launched its first advertising campaign based on rewards in mobile games.
It is called It Starts With You and is held jointly with the automotive giant Honda as part of the promotion of the new Honda Accord 2013 model.
This promotion involves two games from the Zynga range: Words With Friends and Scramble With Friends. Those users who in these games will be able to compose words related to the Japanese car brand will be rewarded with in-game currency and hints.
Note that Zynga has previously used similar “incentive” promotions in social games on Facebook in partnership with McDonalds, Nordstrom and Fox. Now she is introducing this practice into the mobile sphere.
