The other day Microsoft announced its successes in the mobile field. According to the company, there are as many as 9 million transactions with the Windows Phone Store per day in the world.

By operations we mean the number of downloads and IAP.

To be honest, Microsoft has chosen a very interesting approach in terms of presenting figures. 9 million downloads is a good figure, unless, of course, you remember that more than 1 million Android smartphones are activated in the world every day. But due to the clarification that IAP also comes out in millions of downloads, I want to smile maliciously. They say, I wonder how many millions (hundreds of thousands) of downloads there would be, not taking into account the company’s in-app purchases.

Whatever it was, it was not without good news.

Firstly, it became known that starting this month, mobile operators must transfer payments to developers within 30 days – instead of the long 120 days.

Secondly, the company has launched an open beta version of Windows Phone App Studio, an application framework for novice developers.

Thirdly, it was reported that Microsoft decided to cooperate with “several third-party networks”, which should fill the lack of personalized advertising on the platform. The unique ID of the device, which the Microsoft Advertising SDK will transmit to third-party networks, will help personalize advertising.
