Spry Fox and 6waves have reached an agreement in a lawsuit over copyright infringement of the former.
Back in January, Spry Fox filed a lawsuit against 6waves, accusing this publisher that the Yeti Town mobile game released by him was “copied” from the popular Triple Town developed by the Spry Fox team.
About a month ago, the Seattle court rejected 6waves’ request to cancel the lawsuit, and now the companies have managed to agree, so to speak, “amicably.” The full terms of the agreement have not been disclosed, however, according to Spry Fox CEO David Edery, a decision has been made to transfer ownership of the IP Yeti Town to his studio. So developers can be happy with the outcome of the case. By the way, Yeti Town has already been removed from the Apple App Store.
