tinyBuild continues to invest in its Hello Neighbor brand. The publisher announced investments in Lviv Hologryph, the authors of Secret Neighbor. The amount of investments amounted to $3 million.
Secret Neighbor
According to the terms of the deal, tinyBuild received a controlling stake in Hologryph.
The funds, according to the publisher, will be used to expand the team (now it employs 11 people) and support the yet-to-be-announced game for a new generation of consoles.
Hologryph is primarily known as the developer of the Hello Neighbor spin-off called Secret Neighbor. The studio also participated in the creation of Party Hard 2.
The publisher himself is now working together with Eerie Guest Studio on a full-fledged second part of Hello Neighbor (the first was developed by the Russian Dynamic Pixels).
Secret Neighbor
Recall that in July tinyBuild announced the acquisition of all rights to Hello Neighbor from Dynamic Pixels, as well as its development team, which it transports to the Netherlands (it was she who became the slightly above-mentioned Eerie Guest Studio).
It was not reported how much that purchase cost, but it was said about plans to spend $ 15 million on brand development.
Also, as part of the announcement of the deal, the publisher announced that downloads of all Hello Neighbor games have reached the 60 million mark. Of these, 3.5 million were for Secret Neighbor, distributed through the Xbox Game Pass game subscription. As noted in tinyBuild, the company believes in this type of distribution.
