Digital Turbine has announced the purchase of 100% of Fyber, a service for advertising in mobile games and applications. The transaction amount was $600 million.As part of the deal, $400 million will be paid in Digital Turbine shares, and $150 million in cash.

Fyber will receive another $50 million in additional compensation if the company reaches certain financial indicators by March 31, 2022.

The transaction is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2021. Thanks to this, Digital Turbine intends to become a key platform for monetization and advertising.

“We intend to continue investing in Fyber products, expanding its partner network, giving the company new opportunities for growth through cooperation with Digital Turbine, our users and partners,” said Bill Stone, CEO of Digital Turbine.

Digital Turbine is a service that provides tools to attract users, monetize and simplify the finding of content. At the end of February, the company also acquired the mobile monetization platform AdColony for $400 million.

The company Fyber was founded in 2009. It provides developers with a service for placing and optimizing ads in mobile games and applications. The platform’s MAU exceeds 650 million unique users, and the service itself operates in 180 countries.
