Farmville developers are going to establish a new office. It will appear not far from Russia – in Finland.
According to the Finnish edition of tivi, the company was registered in the Suomi trade register on December 14. Zynga does not officially confirm this information, and it declined to comment on the opening of the division to the publication. In case of launch, the Finnish office will become the fifteenth division of Zynga.
Zynga is not the first company to decide to settle in Finland in December 2016. Earlier this month, Wargaming announced the launch of an office in Helsinki. The latter will be built on the basis of the studio Boomlagoon.
Now Finland is one of the central regions of Europe for game development. Companies such as Supercell, Rovio, Remedy Entertainment, Seriously and Frogmind have appeared here.
