FarmVille

Zynga CEO Don Mattrick admitted in an interview with Seeking Alpha that at the moment his team is forced to do obvious things, and also stated that over the past ten months he has seriously “cleaned up” the company’s management team.

Look, the fact that we didn’t have (at the time) a mobile version FarmVille, created a favorable environment for the development of Hay Day. So now we’re just putting everything in order, doing the obvious things. Imagine that you left your lunch box unattended in the school yard, and someone was eating it. We’re just getting the leftovers now,” Mattrick said.

He also noted that he had made a number of important changes in management, thoroughly shook up the management team. In fact, I created it from scratch (more on this here).

Whether all this will make Zynga one of the main players in the mobile and social entertainment market again is a big question. At the moment, there are two games of the company in the American box office Top 25 – Zynga Poker Texas Holdem and FarmVille 2: Country Escape.
