A free online course “Business of Mobile Gaming” has opened. Its author was a Chinese developer and publisher Yodo1.


The course consists of two hours of video lectures, in which a Chinese publisher shares the business basics of mobile gaming, explains the nuances of promoting titles and shows by examples how monetization works.

The curriculum is divided into four modules:

1) Marketing

2) Community management

3) Monetization

4) Career

The lecturer is Henry Fong, co—founder and CEO of Yodo1.

So far, “Business of Mobile Gaming” has started only on the publisher’s own platform. But in the coming weeks, he will also appear on Udemy, Skillshare, LinkedIn Learning and Coursera.

After training, graduates will receive a certificate of completion of the course. According to the publisher, this certificate will give the right to get a job at Yodo1 on a part-time or part-time basis.

Yodo1 is a Chinese company headquartered in Beijing, founded in 2011. Among the released games, the most famous are Rodeo Stampede, Transformers: Earth Wars and Crossy Roads.
