As part of a round table at the Slush 2015 conference, which opened today in Helsinki, Wooga CEO Jens Begemann said that the company is not going to engage in VR development.

Jens justified this by saying that his company’s projects and VR have fundamentally different audiences.
“We communicate to a wide audience that plays for short periods. VR is the opposite of that,” Jens stressed.
According to him, smart watches will be a much more common gadget than virtual reality glasses.
Viktor Kislyi, CEO of Wargaming, also participated in this round table. According to him, eSports and VR will be able to work well together.
“This will allow people to be inside the fight, listen to great comments and control the camera,” Viktor noted.
