Strategy Analytics has published the results of a survey of 1,600 mobile app developers. More than 32% of respondents intend to support Windows Phone in 2014, which is 2 times higher than this year.

Of course, Android (84%) and iOS (68%) received the largest number of votes. The third place went to HTML 5 (43%).

However, Windows Phone is gaining momentum and has every chance to declare itself as a “third ecosystem” in the future, since HTML 5 is primarily used as a development tool for other platforms.

Strategy Analytics employees note that the attention of developers was also attracted by newcomers to the market. Firefox OS and Samsung‘s Tizen should receive 10% and 5%, respectively, next year.
