One of the best indie games of last year may be ported to mobile platforms in 2013.
Phil Fish, the author of Fez, one of the most unusual and striking platformers of recent times, said that this year he is porting his project from Xbox 360 to other platforms.
He noted that he was literally inundated with letters asking him to transfer his project to other systems. “People want to see the game on all platforms,” Phil wrote. He himself did not mention any specific system, but stated that there would be a port.
Most likely, the game will appear, first of all, on the PC. But, given the popularity of the mobile segment and the love for it from independent developers, it seems logical that Fez will be released on iOS and Android.
In any case, we can only hope that the creation of the mobile version will take much less time for Fish than the creation of the game. He worked on Fez for five years.
