WildTangent is going to conquer the mobile market. The next step is a contract with Asus, according to which the gaming service of the American company will appear on all the vendor’s tablets.

But, as can be understood from the original press release, we are not talking about the appearance of the WildTangent Games app store on Asus tablets, the third largest tablet manufacturer in the world (after Apple and Samsung), but only that it will now be possible to find it through the ASUS@vibe+ platform.

And even if the store appeared on tablets as a basic application, would it bring the company revenue – a big question. As long as Google Play is installed on the devices, the user, first of all, will access it. Why does he need another store where he needs to register separately, where there are fewer applications?

One of the most obvious examples of this is not the most successful experience of Samsung Apps. This app store is on all Samsung devices, its potential audience has at least several hundred million users. But, question, have you heard anything about good sales or at least installations from it? We’re not.

Anyway, WildTangent believes in its bright future. Representatives of the company believe that the opportunity to play freemium games, digital application rentals and discounts will ensure the success of the platform.

In the coming months, WildTangent Games will also appear on Asus tablets running Windows 8.
