The head of the Belarusian Wargaming company. net Victor Sour (Victor Kisly) told about plans for the future. According to him, Wargaming intends to develop and support the flagship title World of Tanks for the next two decades.

Sour admitted that in the last couple of years, the Wargaming team began to pay less attention to WoT and switched to other projects.

“It was a mistake. Players demanded quality improvements and new content more and more. We have again focused on World of Tanks, and we will work on the game for the next 10-20 years,” said the head of Wargaming.

In the latest update, the tank online action movie was transferred to the new Core engine, which, according to Sour, provides the quality of the game picture at the level of the last part of the Battlefield multiplayer shooter from Electronic Arts.

In addition to tanks and other projects for hardcore players, Wargaming. net is also interested in casual games. For the development of this direction, the company has signed a partnership with the Belarusian studio Melsoft for two years.

The first joint product of the companies is a simulator of the coffee shop My Café: Recipes & Stories — launched last year and has now gained over 10 million downloads.
