Slitherine has pledged to help in the next two years with the creation of training tools to demonstrate combat strategy.

The developer’s contract with the agency has already been signed.

Dstl will use Slitherine projects in conjunction with its data. According to the experts of the laboratory, simulators teach a “creative approach” to solving complex combat tasks. “Their advantage is in the simplicity and accessibility of use, as well as in a large audience,” says one of the analysts of Dstl.

According to MCV, the great potential of such projects has already been assessed by the Royal Navy of Great Britain. Now he is studying the possibility of using a certain strategic game for educational purposes.

Slitherine Group is a British publisher and developer of historical wargames. His published projects include Flashpoint Campaigns: Red Storm, as well as the Command series.
