The share of hyper-casual games in mobile tops is growing from year to year. Sensor Tower came to this conclusion. She also named the most downloaded hyper-casuals of last year.
In 2019, the 20 most downloaded new products in total on the App Store and Google Play downloaded 2.1 billion times. 77.6% of these installations were hyper-casual. In 2018, the share of downloads of such games did not exceed 68%. The number of hyper-casual novelties in the top twenty has also grown over the year: from 13 to 16 projects.
The most downloaded novelty of 2019 was Fun Race 3D from Good Job Games. This hyper—casual game has 219 million installations (that is, 10.4% of all installations in the top 20). Three more Good Job Games got into the top twenty with a combined share of downloads of 23.8%.
