The Dutch developer of mobile and web games Vasco Games has reported a billion downloads of its applications.
The studio was founded in 2013 by a team of 8 people. The company focuses on the release of a large number of small projects. During the first year of operation, Vasco Games released 130 titles that were downloaded almost 62 million times. In 2014, there were already 219 million downloads, in 2015 — 312 million. In 2016, the developer finished with 393 million downloads, and the Vasco Games staff expanded to 100 employees.
The milestone of 1 billion downloads was broken on March 28. According to the statistics of the App Annie service, the studio has published 2488 applications on mobile platforms.
Founder and CEO Vasco Rouw thanked his studio colleagues on Facebook for their joint work and invited other developers to cooperate with Vasco Games.
