Finding a Unity developer will soon become very easy. The authors of the engine have launched an open beta of Unity Connect, a search service for Unity specialists, as well as developers of games and VR/AR projects.
The service officially offers the following features to users with Unity ID:
- create your own portfolio;
- ask for help from other specialists;
- find a job or an order;
- find employees.
Now the service is free, but Clive Downie, Unity’s marketing director, in a conversation with Gamasutra, did not rule out the possibility of further commercialization of Unity Connect.
