Unity Technologies, together with the State Corporation for the Development of the Digital Economy of Malaysia (MDEC), has launched a Southeast Asian innovation center in the capital of the country. It is intended for developers using the Unity engine.
The center’s mission is to provide local game studios and startups with access to Unity’s tools, resources and analytical capabilities.
The site will specialize in supporting game projects at an early stage of readiness.
The new center became Unity’s first enterprise of this format in Southeast Asia. It is located on the territory of the LEVEL UP business incubator, which belongs to MDEC.
Together with the Unity center, there are 8 more development studios in the incubator.
