Ubisoft studio has opened in Da Nang, Vietnam. She will focus on developing messenger games.
The company decided to start developing mobile games in Da Nang, because there is an “excellent quality of life”, as well as a “developed technological ecosystem”. In addition, Ubisoft Da Nang counts on cooperation with local universities.
The team plans to recruit about 100 employees in three years. The head of the studio is named Aurélien Palasse (Aurélien Palasse), he is also the head of Ubisoft’s publishing activities in China.
As mentioned above, Ubisoft Da Nang will start developing mobile games for messengers. The expansion of Ubisoft’s mobile business was precisely the goal of creating a new studio. So she will cooperate with other Ubisoft divisions, focused on mobile.
