In the Apple mobile app store, the number of programs available for download has reached the 1 million mark.
We are not talking about the total number of applications that have ever appeared in the App Store, but about active programs.
Of the mentioned million, 413 thousand applications are optimized for iPad.
In total, since the launch of the App Store, the Apple company has launched 1.4 million programs. For comparison, Google has so far approved “only” 1.17 million. Of these, 881 thousand are active.
By the way, Wooga recently reported that there are less than 0.1% of successful games in the App Store. We do not think that this percentage is higher, if we talk about the situation on the market as a whole.
