Rovio has announced the global launch of the Rovio Account cross-platform service, which was launched this spring on iOS and Android.
One of its key tasks is to ensure full synchronization between the company’s games running on different operating systems.
Today, everyone is saying how important it is that the game is released on all platforms, that it supports Facebook, so that a player can log in to the application on any device under his login in the Zuckerberg social network. The problem is that Facebook, as a third–party development in terms of saving progress in the app and all purchases, does not suit everyone. And, it seems, Rovio as well.
For this reason, the Finnish company has launched its own service, which currently supports only iOS and Android and is available only to users of the original Angry Birds and The Croods farm. However, as we see it, very soon it will appear in the rest of the company’s projects, and will also receive support for Smart TVs and consoles.
