The independent studio Beamdog was left by the creative director — David Gaider (David Gaider). Geider is known as the author of the scripts of classic role-playing games by BioWare, where he worked for 17 years. He has created stories for Baldur’s Gate, Neverwinter Nights, Dragon Age and other games.

In addition, David has written several novels about the Dragon Age universe.

According to Beamdog, Geider has formed a creative team in the studio that will work on the plots of the studio’s games after his departure.

Geider has not yet disclosed what he will do after leaving Beamdog. In a tweet, he said that “it’s time to move on.”

Beamdog is known for its remaster versions of role-playing games on the Infinity engine: Baldur’s Gate, Icewind Dale, Planescape: Torment and others.
