Spyro Reignited Trilogy was released on November 13 and ranked ninth in the November top 10 best-selling games in the United States, as reported by NPD.

Sales of the game in the release month were 30% higher than the total sales of all games from the Spyro series in the first month, writes VentureBeat. There are 10 games in total in the original Spyro the Dragon series (excluding the Skylanders franchise).

Spyro Reignited Trilogy is a collection of remakes of Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage! and Spyro: Year of the Dragon. These games were created by Insomniac Games in 1998-2000 for the first PlayStation. The developer of the updated trilogy was Toys For Bob (the authors of Skylanders), and the publisher was Activision.

Note that last year Activision similarly published a collection of remasters of Crash Bandicoot games — Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy. His debut was also very successful, ensuring that the game got into the top 10 highest-grossing in the release month.
