One of the main innovations of iOS 7, as we have already written, will be extended support for game controllers. Apple will allow third-party vendors to create gamepads for their mobile devices. And yesterday a photo of one of them got online.
According to the Kotaku blog, which published the photo, the gamepad was created by Logitech.
Judging by the photo, the controller is designed for iPhone 5. It has one stick and four control buttons plus another one, which is apparently responsible for entering the menu or pausing. Plus, perhaps, there are shifts available. Unfortunately, the poor quality of the photo does not allow us to speak about this with confidence.
Toucharcade is sure that this is only a working prototype (the device looks too unsightly). In turn, our colleagues from Pocketgamer claim that Logitech gamepads for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad will be on sale before the end of this summer.
