Top most downloaded games
October was a very successful month for Activision. Her free-to-play shooter took the first place in downloads, both on iOS and on Google Play.
Moreover, a unique situation has developed. In Southeast Asia, the Android version of Call of Duty: Mobile was released not by Activision, but by Garena Online. And it also entered the top 10 in downloads as a separate application.
The leader of the September top — Mario Kart Tour — for Android downloads fell seriously in October. This caused a drop in the top of cumulative downloads from both platforms.
Sand Balls deserves special attention. The minimalistic game published by the Belarusian SayGames is still very high in the top 10. It is on the second position in the world downloads on Google Play and on the sixth — on iOS.
Top highest-grossing games
The largest amount among all mobile games for the month earned Game For Peace (it is also adapted specifically for the Chinese market PUBG Mobile). The first place was secured exclusively by revenue from the App Store.
Of the young projects, Dragon Quest Walk from Square Enix shows itself well. Launched in September, the Pokémon Go clone has been doing great in the global sales chart for the second month, while remaining launched only in Japan.
Homescapes also shows consistently high rates. The Playrix game on both platforms ranks 9th in the world in terms of earnings.
