Square Enix breaks traditions. The company published the sixth part of Final Fantasy on Google Play before the release on the App Store.
The long-awaited Final Fantasy VI (at one time better known as Final Fantasy III due to the violation of the numbering of the English-language versions) appeared on Google Play yesterday. Previously, all games in the series were primarily launched on iOS.
What’s it? A deliberate step related to the wide popularity of the platform in Asia, and indicating a change in the whole publishing paradigm, an experiment or an accident? We don’t know, but the release date of the project on the App Store is still unknown.
You can purchase Final Fantasy VI on Google Play at the traditionally high price of 499 rubles. By the way, the GBA release is based on the 2007 version of the game (the original game was released on the SNES in 1994). Beautiful graphics are not worth waiting for, but the game has a wonderful soundtrack.
